Junior Road Safety Officers

Junior Road Safety Officers (J.R.S.O’s) are part of the Safer Routes To School (S.R.T.S.G.) Group.

There are two new J.R.S.O’s chosen from P7 every year.

J.R.S.O’s do a lot of things throughout school including talking at assemblies, helping the adults on the two buses that come from Colinton Mains and Craiglockhart.

J.R.S.O’s also take part in the S.R.T.S.G. meetings and organise competitions such as spot the difference and word searches and all of these activities are based upon road safety.
